Are you ready?
Want to know more before you commit?
You are invited to participate in the Diocesan Confirmation Series for Adults, a weekly Episcopal education series for those who would like to know more about the church and are seeking to better understand the tenets of this faith tradition.
Starting on Sunday, February 23rd, we’ll meet weekly via Zoom and for each session you will get to know and hear from a different “teacher.” We’ve invited a cross-section of clergy, lay leaders and even our Bishop to join us and share about the aspects of faith that mean the most to them. Our hope is that you get a sense of both the long-held traditions and the diverse perspectives which make the Episcopal faith rich and dynamic.
At the end of the series, you will have the option to be confirmed or received at Cathedral Day, May 3, 2025 at Saint Mark’s Cathedral, Seattle, an annual tradition in the Diocese of Olympia.

Advocate for Refugees – President Trump’s Executive Order which suspended the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) has devastated thousands of refugees who were prepared to come to the United States after a months-long process of vetting. The order has caused chaos for resettlement agencies, affiliates, and communities that welcome refugees. Please join us in speaking up for this program which has a bipartisan record of success and urge Congress to take action to protect it. EPISCOPAL CHURCH’S IMMIGRATION ACTION TOOLKIT What to Know The Trump Administration has made sweeping policy changes on immigration that are already having an impact on millions of people. Many of these new policies have been—and will be—challenged by the courts, and we anticipate continued shifts. In our ongoing support of migrants, and those living in our communities who face uncertain futures, obtaining and sharing accurate information is critical. GET READY FOR WEDNESDAYS WITH OUR
SOUP SUPPERS AND STUDY
This year’s Lenten study is particularly fitting for TODAY’S needs.
In The Time Is Now, Sister Joan Chittister—a rabble-rousing force of nature for social justice
and fervent proponent of personal faith and spiritual fulfillment—draws on the wisdom of prophets,
both ancient and modern, to help us confront the societal forces that oppress and silence
the sacred voices among us.
Pairing scriptural insights with narratives of the truth-tellers that came before us,
Sister Joan offers a compelling vision for readers to combat complacency and to propel ourselves
toward creating a world of justice, freedom, peace, and empowerment.
For the weary, the cranky, and the fearful,
this energizing message invites us to participate in a vision for a world greater
than the one we find ourselves in today.
This is spirituality in action; this is practical and powerful activism for our times.
